[Text Description:] Thin strip of decorated ivory with border pattern and 3 rosettes. ❧ [Text or Publication Number Note:] ZT 29636/6 ❧ [Excavation Description:] Ziyaret Tepe Archaeological Project, an international collaboration led by Prof. Tim Matney of the University of Akron, Ohio ❧ [Medium:] Ivory ❧ [Script Note:] Non-Text ❧ [Physical Object Description:] Thin strip of decorated ivory. Engraved lines of decoration create border pattern and 3 rosettes. A drill hole is in the border at side. The object is composed of 22 fragments taken frpm ZT 29636/6+7+32. ❧ [Physical Object Note:] Object is severely warped and discolored. Decoration is whitish with a bubbly surface. Background appears blue and schräger line pattern can be observed. Micrographs were taken that show bubbly surface and schräger pattern. Object fragments had been joined by previous conservators. Adhesive residue overall.
