Ciqual French table of average foods and their contributors 2025

The Ciqual French table of average foods accompanies the French food composition table 2025. The latter provides information on the nutritional composition of the most commonly consumed foods in France, including certain foods referred to as ‘average’, such as ‘cheese’, ‘cooked meat’, 'fruit' and ‘cooked vegetables’, without further detail. The Ciqual French table of average foods lists these 191 specific foods and their contributors in Excel format. It therefore provides documentation and traceability information that explains how the nutritional composition of the average foods in the Ciqual table are determined. The 2025 average food table is published by the Food Observatory unit of the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (Anses).
