In India, the vast majority of clinical interactions are not digitized. In the few instances that they are, the data are not standardized, not interoperable, and not readily accessible to clinicians, researchers, or policy makers. Data are generated at multiple nodes along the delivery system. We mapped data origin and flow in the Indian Health System, with the aim to understand duplication, wastage, usage, and to explore the concept of a minimum dataset for health
