In charge exchange spectroscopy (CXS), the reference L-mode plasma profile - characterized by strong turbulence, absence of transport barriers, and relatively low temperature - calculated using the mapped carbon ion temperature and plasma rotation velocity data (cxsmap7) obtained with the high spatial resolution system CXS7.
