Data and code for the Arctic soil moisture retrieval from Fengyun-3 GNSS-R

This dataset comprises a collection of data used for soil moisture retrieval and validation, including input feature sets for Random Forest modeling, Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) radiometer data for accuracy validation, in-situ measurements from the International Soil Moisture Network (ISMN), and the retrieved soil moisture results derived from FengYun-3 (FY-3) satellite observations. The data covers the period from June 2024 to September 2024.In the associated manuscript "Arctic Soil Moisture Retrieval from Fengyun-3 GNSS-R: The Dual Regulatory Role of Snow Water Equivalent", these data were employed to train and test a Random Forest machine learning model.
