This Los Angeles Times poll is the 279th in a series of opinion studies to measure public attitudes on a number of critical issues. This particular survey focuses on the aftermath of the jury verdict in the Rodney King beating trial.The sampling frame for this survey is all telephone residents in the city of Los Angeles. Eight hundred eighty-eight men and women 18 years of age or older were contacted by telephone May 3-4, 1992. There are a total of 967 observations in this dataset.
