THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF CYBERBULLYING ON MENTAL HEALTH AMONG ADOLESCENTS: PSYCHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This article provides a psychological analysis of the negative impact of cyberbullying, which is increasingly prevalent among adolescents, on mental health. The study examines the adverse effects of cyberbullying on adolescents’ emotional state, self-esteem, social adaptation, and the process of identity formation. In particular, the article analyzes, based on scientific sources, psychological outcomes such as depression, anxiety, loneliness, and social isolation resulting from online harassment and cyber victimization. In addition, the paper presents psychological and pedagogical recommendations aimed at preventing cyberbullying and reducing its negative consequences, as well as practical conclusions of relevance for parents, teachers, and mental health professionals.
