Description

This dataset contains hydrological and meteorological data from the Two-Boat Lake catchment in the Kangerlussuaq region, Western Greenland. It includes time series data on precipitation, soil moisture, regolith temperature and lake water levels for the time period August 2013 to August 2019, and is an extension to the time series previously published by Johansson et al. (2015, doi:10.1594/PANGAEA.836178). All data presented here have been collected and treated in the same way as the data in the original publication (for details please refer to Johansson et al., 2015). The data are therefore fully compatible with the previously published data, and the two datasets can directly be merged to a single time series that cover the entire 2010-2019 period. In addition the dataset contains Thaw depth measurements made in the Two-Boat Lake catchment during the snowmelt period 2017. This data has been described and used in Rydberg et al. (2025).
