Description
A high contrast XMT scan of a fossil shark tooth. Unfortunately the species and the age of the fossil are unknown, making this dataset a curio rather than a proper research item.
The data is in the form a a series of BMP files each one slice in the XY plane.
The scan was performed at 90 kV and the data was calibrated for grey level according to our paper in the references. The voxel size in the reconstructed dataset is 20 microns.
