This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the role of modern digital technologies, particularly Big Data, artificial intelligence, and intelligent network management (smart grid) systems in the process of decarbonizing thermal power systems. The study examines innovative approaches to reducing carbon emissions in energy production and distribution processes, predictive modeling, and digital management tools. Additionally, the article addresses existing problems, technological limitations, and ways to overcome them. The results indicate that intelligent management systems are a crucial tool for ensuring the ecological sustainability of thermal energy.
