Description

Mean streambed roughness in two study streams (SE: Selke, KB: Kalte Bolde). Roughness is expressed as the standard deviation of streambed elevation (in meter) relative to a planar surface. Mean values are shown for 2 morphological structures (riffe and pools) and for measurements conducted during different seasons (spring and summer). These data form the basis for Figure 4 in Anlanger et al. (2026). See Supplementary Information for this paper for a detailed description of roughness measurements and analyses.Anlanger, C., C. Noss, U. Risse-Buhl, M. Brauns, D. von Schiller, M.
