Description

This article examines the pedagogical potential of teaching the life and work of  Shavkat Rahmon for the development of students’ thinking skills. The study proceeds from the assumption that literary education should not be limited to the memorization of facts, dates, or ready-made interpretations; rather, it should cultivate analytical, interpretive, historical, ethical, and creative modes of thought. Shavkat Rahmon’s literary legacy is especially suitable for this purpose because his poetry combines strong imagery, philosophical density, civic pathos, moral tension, and linguistic originality.
