Ficus VOCs and pollinator antenna sensilla diversity
View DatasetDescription
The percentage (mean±SD) of each compound to the B phase fig volatiles of each Ficus species. The majority of compounds were identified by co-chromatography with authentic standards, by matching library suggestions (NIST) with published Kovats retention index (RI) values obtained from the same HP-5MS column used in this study, or by both criteria. A few compounds were remained unidentified. In such instances, we provided the ten most common mass spectral ion fragments (highlighted in bold), along with the suggessted compound, and the relative contribution of each ion to the mass spectrum in relation to the most common ion (within parentheses). Numbers in parentheses (sample/tree) following species names code indicate the number of sample and tree replications, respectively.
