This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of using cytochrome P450BM3 enzyme-hydrolysed cottonseed meal as a protein source in the diet of yellow-feathered broiler chickens during production. In this study, we compared the feeding effects of enzymatically hydrolyzed cottonseed meal and raw cottonseed meal in yellow-feathered broiler chicks, with a focus on growth performance, serum antioxidant capacity, intestinal morphology, and gut microbiota. The results of this study showed that enzymatically hydrolyzed cottonseed meal improved growth performance and antioxidant capacity, enhanced intestinal morphology, and helped maintain microbial balance in the ileum.
