Geomorphological landslide inventory of the Dubračina Valley using pseudo-stereoscopic LiDAR hillshade maps

Comprehensive landslide inventories are essential tools for documenting the spatial distribution of slope processes and provide the fundamental dataset for subsequent landslide analyses. This study presents a geomorphological landslide inventory map of the Dubračina Valley (43.6 km2, Croatia), prepared through expert interpretation of pseudo-stereoscopic hillshade maps derived from a high-resolution national airborne LiDAR dataset. The inventory includes 1,094 landslides, representing multiple generations of slope failures and associated geomorphological features. All landslides were mapped as vector polygons and classified by type and relative age. The mapping approach integrates enhanced three-dimensional visualization with geomorphological analysis, improving the detection of previously underrepresented landslide phenomena. Compared to previous spatially and thematically constrained studies, this inventory provides a consistent and comprehensive representation of landslide distribution within a structurally and geomorphologically complex catchment. The dataset is freely available and provides a basis for comparative geomorphological studies, landslide susceptibility modelling, and efforts to improve the standardization and reproducibility of landslide inventories derived from high-resolution topographic data.
