Description

This project aims to investigate the neuroimmune mechanisms that may underlie social isolation-induced mood disorders and their potential connection to Alzheimer's disease. The research focuses on understanding how social isolation affects neuroimmune responses and contributes to neurodegenerative processes. Data included in this dataset encompass a variety of experimental measurements collected from animal models, specifically mice and zebrafish. The data files consist of quantitative PCR (qPCR) results, which measure gene expression levels related to neuroimmune and neurodegenerative pathways, immunohistochemistry (IHC) images and data, used to visualize and analyze cellular and molecular changes within brain tissues, and Western blot (WB) data for protein expression analysis. Additionally, the dataset includes behavioral measurements to assess mood-related behaviors affected by social isolation, ELISA absorbance readings for cytokine quantification, and flow cytometry data for profiling immune cell populations. These data collectively provide a comprehensive overview of molecular, cellular, and behavioral effects associated with social isolation and neurodegeneration, generated from experiments involving both mice and zebrafish models.
