Description

The survey was a parallel survey to the Standard Eurobarometer 41.0, and was conducted in the same way and time period as in the EU-countries. The Norwegian data are part of the integrated data set that is available for researchers worldwide. The Standard Eurobarometer is a set of surveys that is administrated and financed by the European commission. It aims to gather information on social, economic and political conditions in the member countries. All Standard Eurobarometer surveys contain certain trend questions on the knowledge of and attitudes towards the EU and the process of European integration. From 1990 to 1996, NSD had permission from EU to conduct the surveys in Norway. In total, 12 Norwegian surveys were conducted. The subjects of this survey are trade, donation of blood and smoking.
