Description

Dataset of soil CO2 efflux from a temperate mix forest. Includes information from January 2006 to December 2008. Soil CO2 efflux was measured using the "gradient method" where soil CO2 concentrations were measured in conjunction with soil temperature and soil moisture. The study was conducted at the University of California James San Jacinto Mountain Reserve, a UC Natural Reserve System field station. The Reserve is a mixed conifer-oak forest at 1640m.a.s.l. located in the San Jacinto Mountains, CA, USA (33048'30''N, 116046'40''W). For more details see:
