The Effect of Green Finance Policy on Agricultural New Quality Productive Forces: Evidence from China’s Green Finance Reform and Innovation Pilot Zones

This dataset comprises city-level panel data, supporting the empirical analysis for the study titled "The Impact of Green Finance Policy on New Quality Productive Forces in Agriculture: Evidence from China's Green Finance Reform and Innovation Pilot Zones." It covers 294 Chinese prefecture-level cities from 2010 to 2023. The dataset includes all core variables for the Difference-in-Differences (DID) model, as well as data for mediating effect tests, robustness checks, and heterogeneity analysis, such as indicators for new quality productive forces in agriculture, green finance pilot policy variables, green technology innovation variables, and control variables. All data are sourced from publicly available official materials, including the China City Statistical Yearbook, China Agricultural Yearbook, China Environmental Statistical Yearbook, and various provincial and municipal statistical yearbooks. Missing values have been supplemented using linear interpolation. The dataset is provided in Excel format with clear variable definitions. There are no access restrictions.
