Description

A .bed file containing the coordinates of the probed regions for a snowshoe hare exome capture. Coordinates are based on the European rabbit (oryCun2.0) genome. The capture was originally designed by Jones et al. 2018 (linked in references).
We targeted all protein-coding and untranslated regions (UTRs) annotated in the European rabbit reference genome and novel UTRs identified from published molting snowshoe hare skin transcriptomes (total of207,691 regions, 55.29-Mb) (Ferreira et al. 2017, linked in references). Custom probes were generated by Roche (NimbleGen SeqCapEZ Developer) using a relaxed probe design. The final capture probe set covered 97.4% of originally targeted bases (>99% of protein-coding genes) and included 213,164 probes covering 61.73-Mb (~25-Mb protein-coding, ~28-Mb UTR, ~9-Mb intron/intergenic).
