Description

In 2016, a survey was carried out among people aged 15-34 about their education, job search and work experience. It is a very heterogeneous group when it comes to working life. The vast majority of those under the age of 20 have education as their main activity. However, every third had a job in 2016, including part-time jobs next to school. In the age group of 20-24, less than half of the respondents reported education as their main activity. The proportion of employed 20-24 year olds was 64 percent in 2016, and half of these had a full-time job. For those aged 30-34, the employment rate was over 80 percent, which is close to the numbers of employees in the age group 35-55.
