The NRCan Bottom Pressure Recorder 59 was deployed on 2010-05-18 at Folger Deep. Folger Deep is a deep location in Folger Passage near a pillar-like seamount, where productivity and marine mammals are observed. This device is a Bottom Pressure Recorder. Bottom Pressure Recorders (BPR) are instruments that can detect small changes in pressure on the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
