Financial Dataset for Jordanian Industrial firms - 2016

This dataset was collected from Amman Stock Exchange website by using the latest published Companies’ Guide for year 2016. This dataset contains 11 financial variables (input variables) and 11 financial ratios (output variables) for 53 industrial companies (DMUs) which are listed in Amman Stock Exchange. The companies listed under the industrial sector are categorized into eleven different groups: chemical, electrical, engineering and construction, food and beverages, glass and ceramic, mining and extraction, paper and cardboard, pharmaceutical and medical, printing and packaging, textiles, leathers and clothings, and tobacco and cigarettes. The 53 industrial sector’s companies were manually aggregated and merged into one file for each year (2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015), thus ended up having 4 files for the years 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. DEA models were applied on these 4 files to get the class (efficient and inefficient) for the 53 companies. After that the 53 industrial firms over the four years were aggregated together into a single file in order to increase the size of similar instances in the dataset.
