Description

The Neighborhood Social Control Survey employs a multistage cluster sample of households from 50 neighborhoods in the city of Tianjin. In total, approximately 2,500 households were interviewed about a range of topics including: respondent demographic characteristics, neighborhood structural characteristics, types of neighborhood social control, types of neighborhood disorder, fear of crime, and criminal victimization. The survey was fielded in 2013-2014.
