Description

This dataset and code provides an example for reconstructing inline holography images through a fibre imaging bundle. The sample is 5 micron diameter microspheres on a 1 mm thick glass slide. The slide was back illuminated by 450 nm LED light coupled through a multimode fibre with a 50 micron diameter core. The illumination fiber was approximately 15 mm behind the slide. The hologram was collected by a Fujikura FIGH-30-650S fibre bundle approximately 0.5 mm in front of the microspheres. At the proximal end, this was imaged onto a CMOS camera via a 20X objective and a tube lens, giving an effective pixel size of 0.44 microns.
