Description
The data sheet presents results of oxygen consumption in 38 bats (Thyroptera tricolor). We provide results for time spent moving with and without sounds, plus the time spent producing several types of calls and the total number of those calls. We also provide values for oxygen consumption and then translate that into kJ, both during the silent trials and trials with sound. Finally we estimate energetic expenditure.
