Survey data collected in Malawi and Rwanda in 2017 for the Plantwise programme. Data collected includes: \r\n\r\n* Demographic information about farming households, including ages and education levels of household members\r\n* Reliance on farming activities for household income\r\n* Information on tomato growing practices\r\n* Information sources utilised by farmers\r\n* Information on the 2015 tomato cropping season \r\n* Reasons for failure of crops\r\n* Household assets \r\n\r\n\r\nCode books are also provided to aid in analysis\r\n\r\nThe following papers were produced using this data and are available for download below:\r\n\r\n* Bett et al., 2018: Impact of plant clinics on disease and pest management, tomato productivity and profitability in Malawi\r\n* Silvestri et al., 2019: Analysing the potential of plant clinics to boost crop protection in Rwanda through adoption of IPM: the case of maize and maize stem borers\r\n
