Description

LiGa2 is Calaverite-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li is bonded to six equivalent Ga atoms to form edge-sharing LiGa6 octahedra. All Li–Ga bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Ga is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Li atoms.
