Description

Abstract This study aims to analyze the trajectory of re-institutionalization of children and adolescents in institutional shelter. Therefore, it analyzed the Guidelines for Reception and for Disengagement of children and adolescents, between 2010 and 2017. The data indicate that re-institutionalization has a strong relationship with the situation of poverty and the lack of systematic follow-up of effective public policies to the families.
