Point clouds of 6 trees in the grounds of West Dean Gardens, West Sussex, UK. The trees are: English oak (Quercus robur) (SketchFab, Google Maps) situated in an open field and probably once pollarded (west-dean-oak-1.ply) Weeping willow (Salix babylonica) and a Cedar of Lebanon (Cedras Libani) (SketchFab, Google Maps) (west-dean-willow-and-cyprus.ply) Large English Oak (Quercus robur) with boughs touching the ground (SketchFab, Google Maps) (west-dean-oak-2.ply) An Orinetal plane (Platanus orientalis) and Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) in the Spring Garden (SketchFab, Google Maps) (west-dean-spinrg-garden.ply). Data was captured on 9/9/2020 with a RIEGL VZ-400 terrestrial laser scanner. The weather was good, with little to no noticeable wind. Data is a binary PLY format with reflectance and deviation fields. Note these data still include some ground returns. Please acknowledge the data set authors if using this data.
