BETA-FOR_SP7_Deadwood_Fruitbodies_2023_2024 (Version: 1)

We assessed the presence (estimated percent cover) of fruit bodies on deadwood objects on all our "deadwood objects" (10 selected per plot) across all Beta4 plots (Bavarian Forest, Uniwald Sailershausen, Lübeck, Saarland, Hunsrück). The "deadwood objects" are the same that we sampled for microbial fungi and bacteria (dataset pending). The two datasets uploaded for this entry are 1) a csv with metadata and 2) a simplified community matrix which shows fruit bodies counts on each of the deadwood objects. In the Fall of 2023 the fruitbodies were assessed in the Bavarian Forest and in Sailershausen. In the Fall of 2024 the fruitbodies were assessed in Lübeck, Saarland, and Hunsrück.

In 2021 we took another round of drill and slice samples. The dataset here is the community matrix for determined bacterial OTUs of the wooden logs.
